How To: Add to Wishlist

Find a title using search or from any browse grid.
Tap a title poster to open trailer and details.
Tap Add to Wishlist.
Open Your Wishlist at the top to review pending requests.
To remove a request, open it from Your Wishlist and tap Remove from Wishlist.

Important: Wishlist requests are not guaranteed and may not be added to Plex.

Tip: If search cannot find a title, use Add it as a custom request.

How To: Customize Recommended for You

Add titles to your wishlist to set recommendation seeds.
Tap Like on titles you want more of.
Un-like titles you do not want influencing your picks.
Add specific titles to improve recommendation quality.
Return to Recommended for You after updates to see refreshed picks.

Tip: Recommended for You hides while you are typing in search. Clear the search box to view it.

📱 App Install Help

For helping users install the app

The app must be installed to the user's device to work properly. Guide them based on their browser:

🧭 Safari (iPhone/iPad)

Open in Safari (not Chrome or another browser)
Tap the Invite button in the toolbar
Scroll and tap "Add to Home Screen"
Tap "Add" in the top right
Open the Plex Request app from Home Screen to sign in

🌐 Chrome (Android)

Tap the ⋮ three-dot menu in the top right
Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"
Tap "Install" or "Add" when prompted
Open the app from app drawer or home screen to sign in

🌏 Samsung Internet

Tap the ≡ three-line menu at the bottom
Tap "Install app" if available, or tap "Add page to" with ➕
If using Add page to, choose "Home screen"
Tap "Add" or "Install", then open the app icon from Home Screen

🦊 Firefox (Android)

Tap the ⋮ three-dot menu in the top right
Tap "Install" option
Tap "Add" or "Add automatically"
Launch Plex Request from app drawer or home screen

💡 Important: Users must open the app from their home screen (not from the browser tab) to sign in successfully.

📱 How to Install the App

This app must be installed to your device to work properly. Select your browser below for detailed instructions:

Open in Safari

Make sure you're viewing this page in Safari (not Chrome or another browser)

Tap the Invite button

Look for the Share icon in the toolbar (usually at the bottom or top of the screen)

Select "Add to Home Screen"

Scroll down in the share menu and tap "Add to Home Screen"

Confirm installation

Tap "Add" in the top right corner. The app icon will appear on your Home Screen

Open the installed app

Find the Plex Request icon on your Home Screen and tap it to launch. Sign in from there.

🌐 Chrome (Android) ›

Open the menu

Tap the ⋮ three-dot menu in the top right corner

Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"

Look for either option in the menu (wording varies by Android version)

Confirm installation

Tap "Install" or "Add" when prompted

Launch the app

The app will appear in your app drawer or home screen. Open it from there to sign in.

✅ Access Request Submitted

Your request for access has been submitted successfully!

Either Kassandra or Ben will review your request and grant you access to both the Plex library. You'll be able to sign in once your request is approved.
